  • Discriminatory comments, slurs, or stereotypes.
  • Unwanted sexual attention, inappropriate imagery, or persistent unwelcome contact.
  • Threats, stalking, intimidation, bullying, or deliberate disruption of sessions.

  • Proper citation and avoidance of plagiarism.
  • Accurate representation of data, methods, and results.

  • Disclosure of relevant conflicts of interest where applicable.
Suspected ethical issues may be referred to the organizers and, where relevant, to appropriate institutional channels.
conduct_acc 3     Photography, recording, and privacy (on-site and online) Respect privacy and consent in all congress contexts.
  • On-site: do not photograph or record individuals who request not to be recorded. Avoid capturing sensitive information on badges, posters, or screens.
  • Online: do not record sessions or take screenshots without explicit organizer permission and, where required, speaker consent.
  • Sharing content: do not post slides, papers, or chat transcripts publicly unless the author has granted permission.
If TAGRA conducts official recordings (e.g., keynote capture), this will be communicated in advance.
conduct_acc 4     Reporting concerns and enforcement If you experience or observe conduct concerns:
  • Immediate help: contact on-site staff/volunteers or the virtual room moderator.
  • Confidential report: email [conduct@yourdomain] with a brief description, time, location/session, and any relevant evidence.
  • Urgent safety issues: contact local emergency services first, then notify organizers.
Possible actions include a warning, removal from a session, revocation of access credentials, denial of certification, and/or removal from the congress without refund.
part_reg 1       Valid registration: access is granted only to registered participants using a unique identity (email/account).
part_reg 2       Badge / login: on-site participants must display badges; online participants must use their registered name.
part_reg 3       Non-transferability: registration access is personal and must not be shared.
part_reg 4       Identity consistency: use the same email/name across submissions, payment, and session attendance to avoid certification issues.
part_etq 1       Time discipline: speakers must respect allocated time; chairs may stop over-time presentations.
part_etq 2       Q&A conduct: questions should be concise, relevant, and respectful.
part_etq 3       No disruption: disruptive behavior (on-site or in chat) may result in removal.
part_etq 4       Accessibility: when possible, provide readable slides and describe visuals for remote audiences.
part_acc 1     Hybrid congress rules (on-site + online) Hybrid delivery requires additional coordination.
  • Audio discipline: keep microphones muted when not speaking; minimize background noise.
  • Moderation: virtual room moderators manage chat, speaking requests, and technical flow.
  • Prioritization: chairs may alternate between on-site and online questions to maintain fairness.
  • Connectivity: online participants are responsible for stable connection; record of attendance depends on platform logs.
If a session is interrupted due to technical issues, organizers may provide an alternative format (e.g., rescheduled live Q&A).
part_acc 2     Content sharing and intellectual property Presentations and papers remain the intellectual property of their authors unless explicitly transferred by agreement. Participants must not distribute slides/papers/posters without permission. When discussing work publicly:

  • Minimum presence: presenter is present for Q&A unless excused due to technical issues.
  • Content standards: basic academic integrity expectations are met.
cert_acc 3     Authorship and contribution-based certificates (optional policy) If certificates are issued to authors (not only presenters), define policy precisely:
  • Accepted status: contribution is accepted and not withdrawn.

  • Role clarity: certificate text indicates “Author” vs “Presenter”.
  • Proceedings rule (if applicable): full paper/abstract submission complete by [deadline].

Participation Rules, Conduct Standards, and Certification Criteria

This page consolidates the expectations for all TAGRA participants. It supports both quick scanning and detailed reading, and applies to on-site and online participation in hybrid sessions.

Tip: Use search to highlight terms anywhere on this page. While searching, the search bar stays fixed at the top.

1) Code of Conduct

Professional, respectful, and inclusive conduct applies to all congress contexts: rooms, virtual sessions, chat, email, and congress-related interactions.

Core principles

    Expected behaviors

Important: Certification may be withheld or revoked if the Code of Conduct is violated, even if attendance criteria are met.

      2) Conditions of Participation

Participation conditions ensure smooth operation, fairness, and quality of engagement across hybrid sessions.

      Registration and access

        Session etiquette

Participation access can be restricted if registration details are inconsistent. Use one identity across congress services.

          3) Certification Requirements

Role-based and measurable criteria are provided to reduce uncertainty and prevent disputes.

          Certificate types

            General eligibility rules

If you require engagement steps (survey, check-in prompts), publish them before the congress begins.
